The Walk for the Homeless is an annual event in polokwane, every November. Walkers are guided through downtown as they visit local resources in the community which provide aid to the homeless population. All proceeds from the event are managed and used by the polokwane Samaritan Health Center to help homeless individuals obtain I.D. cards, birth certificates and transportation services in the polokwane community.
